Step by Step to Reading Using Phonics for the Caribbean: Reading Readiness – Book 1

With its phonic base, this series has been designed for both adult and children learning to read. The features of each title the use of simple words that “work” by being sounded out; games and activities to make learning fun; the mastery over key words needed for literacy; a variety of methods for teaching of reading; and teaching notes to show how each page can best be used. The first book “Reading Readiness”, contains activity sheets for children which cover the foundation skills needed when learning to read. It also includes two reading tests which can be copied for use in the homes or at school.
